Just did a little research on this topic. but keyshot is the buzzword for movies and advertising.

And please don't say the software isn't good enough, because keyshot only got animation recently and went mainstream for just doing stills.and we did have indigo for a while and it is a superior rendering engine, further I've seen some genius work in iclone 5 that looked fantastic - many people really don't use iclone to it's full capacity.but I digress, how did we let keyshot claim that spot over iclone ? again, not dissing iclone, it's bugging me that iclone does way more than keyshot.
everyone has it on their help wanted, "must use" list How did Keyshot become the industry standard when Iclone was around much longer, and does so much more, and far more cost effective. I remember when keyshot first started, and it had no animation.but at that point, people like coke-a-cola started using it, over time I saw car manufactures using it. I always keep my eye out for new trends, new places to get freelance gigs, and just keeping up with the latest softwares. Serious question, I've been with iclone for like 11 years now, I am kinda proud of this software despite my gripes with certain bugs that shall remain nameless for this post lol.
